Tvůrci filmu ARVÉD prozrazují, kdo byl Jiří Arvéd Smíchovský

Film Arvéd má světovou premiéru ve středu 3. srpna v rámci slavnostního zakončení 48. ročníku Letní filmové školy Uherské Hradiště. Do kin pak vstoupí 25. srpna.

Tvůrci a herci filmu ARVÉD ve filmu o filmu naznačují, kdo a kým byl jeho hlavní hrdina. Příběh je totiž inspirovaný osudy Jiřího Arvéda Smíchovského, významného hermetika, okultisty, vyznavače černé magie a mimořádně vzdělaného člověka s geniální pamětí. Tento vášnivý milovník knih měl doktorát z práv, teologie a filozofie a ovládal pět jazyků. Přátelil se se špičkami tajných společností, s Janem Keferem, Františkem Kabelákem, Petrem Kohoutem, Karlem Weinfurterem. Zajímal se okultní nauky, přednášel v hermetických společnostech a s několika nejbližšími přáteli provozoval praktickou magii. Od té bílé se později obrátil k černé a ve sklepení rodného domu se pokoušel vyvolat démona. Byl členem Národní obce fašistické, za války spolupracoval s nacisty a po válce s komunistickou StB.
