Svět knihy Praha 2022

Sedmadvacátý mezinárodní knižní veletrh a literární festival nesoucí název SVĚT KNIHY PRAHA 2022 proběhl ve dnech 9. až 12. června 2022 v prostorách Výstaviště Praha Holešovice. Celkem se zúčastnilo 416 vystavovatelů a 746 účinkujících z 33 zemí a regionů.

Mottem letošního ročníku byl citát z románu Jméno růže předního italského spisovatele, filosofa a estetika Umberta Eca (5. 1. 1932 – 19. 2. 2016): „Žijeme pro knihy a je to sladké poslání ve světě upadajícím a zmítaném nepořádkem“, vystihující současnou dobu s odkazem na knihu, resp. literaturu, jakožto útočiště před nejistou přítomností.

Čestným hostem byla Itálie. Příznivci ocenili osobní setkání s oblíbenými italskými autory či nakladateli a uvítali i bohatý kulturní program. Silné propojení českého a italského prostředí také dokládá letošní 100. výročí založení Italského kulturního institutu.

O pestrou škálu zajímavých přenášek a prezentací ani letos nebyla nouze. V nabídce byly také gastronomické pochoutky. Příjemnou atmosféru umocnilo i příznivé počasí.
